He has granted permission for humankind, once more in the end times, to experience true humanity again; and, as <strong data-start=\"196\" data-end=\"223\">Seyyed al-Shuhada Avini<\/strong> said, to once again walk and breathe alongside the <em data-start=\"275\" data-end=\"283\">Ashura<\/em> companions of the Imam of Love.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"319\" data-end=\"773\">When he quietly entered the room, I couldn\u2019t imagine that just a few days earlier, he had a wife, a ten-year-old son, and a thirteen-year-old daughter\u2014and now none of them were in this world. He had come to join the <strong data-start=\"535\" data-end=\"615\">funeral procession around the sacred shrine of Imam Reza (peace be upon him)<\/strong>. There were no signs of sorrow on his face\u2014no dust of grief upon his cheeks, no redness in his eyes. Even as I sat across from him, weeping uncontrollably.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"775\" data-end=\"834\">When the camera turned on, I asked, \u201cWhy aren\u2019t you sad?\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"874\">He replied, \u201cBecause I\u2019m not alone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"966\">I said, \u201cYour wife, your daughter, your son have been martyred\u2014do you have anyone left?\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1169\">He said, \u201cIf you look at it that way, no. I\u2019ve given everything I had in the way of God. But aren\u2019t martyrs <em data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1088\">more alive<\/em> after they depart? I still speak with <strong data-start=\"1127\" data-end=\"1165\">Ahad, Mohaddeseh, and Mohammadreza<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1171\" data-end=\"1241\">Then I handed him their photos and asked, \u201cWhat do you say to them?\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1243\" data-end=\"1301\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">He answered softly, \u201cWe will continue this path together.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It seems as though God wishes to keep revealing beauty\u2014and does not intend to stop.
