Martyr Mahsa Ahmari, a Ph.D. student in psychology at the University of Tabriz, admitted in 2020 and on the verge of defending her doctoral dissertation, was martyred in the brutal attack by the criminal Israeli regime on the city of Astan-e Ashrafieh in Gilan Province. She joined the noble line of innocent martyrs of the recent imposed war, in utmost innocence and oppression.
This distinguished scholar, who, while pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Tabriz, had been teaching specialized psychology courses — including Psychopathology, Physiological Psychology, and Cognitive Psychology — as a visiting lecturer at the University of Hormozgan since 2023, was also providing psychotherapy services and making profound scientific and humanitarian contributions there.
During the Zionist regime’s attack on Astan-e Ashrafieh, in the early hours of June 23, 2025, she was martyred along with her husband, child, and her husband’s brother — one of the nuclear scientists of our nation.
