Dr. Ensieh Khazali, former Vice President for Women and Family Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also spoke at the ceremony, offering congratulations and condolences on the honorable martyrdom of Sister Mirshafieian, who attained the high rank of martyrdom while serving and fell victim to the Zionist enemy. She stated:
“The condition for becoming a martyr is to live like a martyr, and this great honor proves that martyrdom is not only the art of God’s men; pioneering and powerful women stand on the front lines and, with their blood, water the strong tree of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.”
Emphasizing that today is a day of strength and power, she said:
“Today is a day of conquest and victory — a day when defenders, fortifiers, supporters, fighters, and warriors on the side of truth are multiplied, and women have always stood resilient and steadfast on the front lines.”
The former Vice President highlighted that the resilient women of Islamic Iran played crucial supportive roles during the eight-year imposed war, standing firm as the families of martyrs and veterans. She added:
“The blood of Martyr Mirshafieian shows that women, in addition to playing effective roles in support, are also targeted directly by the aggressor in combat — demonstrating the true status of women from the perspective of Islam.”
Khazali, pointing to Iran’s strength in deterrence, military power, scientific ability, and media, said:
“The women of Islamic Iran have always shone in the field of science and have also played a role in missile technology.”
She added:
“In the media field, women stand with strengthened power against the media attacks of the aggressor in the arena of cognitive warfare. They create deterrence and do not allow hostile media to distort the roles of martyr and oppressor.”
She concluded:
“Faith in God is the key to the definitive victory of the front of truth over falsehood, and divine support is certain.”
Pioneers in resistance and steadfastness
Sister Heydarzadeh, head of the Women’s Basij Organization, also spoke at the ceremony, commemorating the revered martyrs of the Zionist regime’s hostile attack on Iran and praising the proud resistance of the Iranian nation. She said:
“The resilient women of Islamic Iran, through steadfastness, courage, and the transmission of beliefs, values, and Ashura-inspired culture to their children and families, are the standard-bearers in promoting and explaining Islamic-Iranian culture to the new generation.”
She added:
“By following the model of the ideal Muslim woman, women are pioneers in the field of spirituality and lead human progress toward advancement. The martyrdom of the honorable lady of the country’s women, Martyr Elaheh Sadat Mirshafieian, reflects the true position of women and their advancement toward peaks of honor and true happiness.”
