Tabassom Pak, 45, was returning home from work on Sunday, 25 Khordad 1404 (June 15, 2025), to embrace her 17-year-old daughter and reassure her not to fear the sounds of war. She was killed in her personal car. Before heading home, she had told her cousin that there was no need to worry because she was on her way, but her subsequent calls and messages went unanswered.

Sara, Tabassom’s cousin, explains that after receiving no response from Tabassom, her brother checked her location and realized she had stopped in the alley next to her home. When the family arrived at the scene, they found that due to the blast wave and collapsing debris, her car had been struck, and she had been martyred there.

Tabassom was among the first victims located by rescue teams that day. She had been walking through the alley near her home to reach her street, park, and go to her daughter.

According to the family, they searched for her body from Sunday until Tuesday—visiting hospitals and the Forensic Medicine Organization in Kahrizak—until they finally located her remains on Tuesday.

Tabassom Pak is to be buried in Section 42 of Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery.

She is one of at least 30 women and children reported by Fatemeh Mohajerani, spokesperson for the government, to have been martyred in the Israeli attacks.

The Ministry of Health has announced that so far, 224 people have been killed and 1,277 injured in Iran due to the attacks, 120 of whom are women and children.
