Nasrollah Khadem, head of the Tehran Grand Sports Basij Organization, stated at the ceremony:

“The 12-day war cannot be compared to the eight-year Sacred Defense, as the depth of this crime was far greater than that of the eight-year war.”

He described the purpose of the visit as honoring the status, dignity, and path of the martyrs, and added:

“Paying tribute to the community of veterans is essential to keep the memory of the martyrs alive and to promote the culture of sacrifice, devotion, and resistance in society.”

Khadem emphasized that the families of the martyrs, including the Haji Miri family, are a testament to the oppression and suffering of the Iranian people, and that preserving their memory is a vital responsibility.
