Hojjat al-Islam Abolfazl Niyazmand, a devoted preacher and the imam of Imam Musa Kazim (peace be upon him) Mosque in Shahid Chamran Town, along with his wife and young children, attained martyrdom in the terrorist attacks carried out by the Zionist regime.

According to Mehr News Agency, Hojjat al-Islam Niyazmand and his wife and three children were martyred in the early hours of Friday, June 13th, following the brutal attack by the Zionist regime on residential areas in Tehran.

Hojjat al-Islam Niyazmand was a jihadist cleric from Gonbad-e Kavus, actively involved in cultural work and humanitarian assistance in the deprived areas of Golestan Province.

The Center for Mosque Affairs of Shahid Beheshti District issued a statement expressing condolences on the martyrdom of this devoted imam and righteous cleric.

The statement reads as follows:

“With a grieving heart and a soul full of faith in divine wisdom, we extend our congratulations and condolences to His Holiness the Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the esteemed maraji‘ (religious authorities), all believers, and especially the dear family and companions of culture and spirituality, on the martyrdom of Hojjat al-Islam Niyazmand, the devoted and diligent imam of Imam Musa Kazim Mosque in Shahid Chamran Town.

Throughout his life, filled with struggle for the promotion of Islamic knowledge and service to the people, he was a guiding light, illuminating the hearts of many with faith and ethics. Today, the loss of this devout scholar and compassionate imam has plunged our community into profound grief, yet we are certain that his name and memory, like the conduct of the prophets and God’s saints, will remain eternal.”
